VERO FIBER COMPLETES FIBER NETWORK INSTALLATION IN LEADVILLE, COLORADO

Leadville, CO

Vero Fiber, the Colorado-based fiber optic internet service provider has completed the network for delivery of its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) internet services in Leadville, Co. The private infrastructure deployment, which covers the city of Leadville, took ten months to complete and represents a multimillion-dollar investment. With network construction complete, residents and businesses of the community can connect to the 100% fiber network, which is capable of symmetrical speeds of up to 10 gigabits-per-second.

In response to the completion of the project, Laurie Simonson, Leadville’s City Administrator, echoed Vero’s enthusiasm for the project’s completion in her statement: “We are really excited to have Vero Fiber fully deployed in Leadville. We appreciate Vero’s investment in our community.”

With so many aspects of life moving online, access to high-performing internet has never been more timely or important.  “Vero Fiber is proud to be Leadville’s local provider, delivering a 100% fiber optic solution will help to meet the ever-evolving needs of the town. The initial response has been fantastic, with over 300 residents and businesses signing up and our first customers are enjoying the fastest speeds available in Leadville,” said Sunita Krisha, CEO of Vero Fiber. “Access to ultra-fast internet is now a necessity, and we look forward to providing this new utility to the citizens and business owners of Leadville.”   As an active participant in the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), Vero is able to offer discounts for qualifying households.

Vero’s presence in Leadville dates back to 2018, when they worked to provide Lake County School District with reliable, affordable fiber internet connecting the schools.  Completing the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) project marks an important milestone for both Leadville and Vero as the town’s only fiber internet provider, the symmetrical gigabit speed offerings far exceed previous speeds available to the community.

The improvement comes as a welcome relief to many who depend on fast, reliable internet for their work, school, and recreational needs. Vero provides a no-nonsense approach to pricing and contracts. With no hidden fees or surcharges, and no contractual commitment, Vero ensures clients have transparency.

Now that construction is complete, Vero is continually adding businesses and residents onto the network, expanding access to dependable internet and continuing to be “the fiber of the community” in Leadville, Colorado.
